Working With Us

  • A micro marketing agency based in Charlotte, NC. We handle six things: website builds, AI-backed systems, organic and paid social, copywriting, branding and concepting, and event management. Small team, senior people — the ones who pitch the work are the ones who do it.

  • No. Most engagements start with one or two. Plenty of clients come to us for a website and never need anything else. The services connect well when you do want more than one — the brand work feeds the site, the site feeds the campaigns — but nothing is bundled and nothing is required.

  • Founder-led businesses, local and regional brands, hospitality and lifestyle companies, nonprofits, and corporate teams that need marketing support without hiring a department. If you're big enough to have an in-house CMO and a roster of agencies, we're probably not the right fit.

  • Yes. The marketing work — sites, systems, social, copy, branding — runs remotely without issue, and we have clients well outside North Carolina. Event production is different: we travel for it, but travel costs are quoted into the budget up front so there are no surprises.

  • Both. A defined build — a website, a rebrand, a single event — runs as a project with a fixed scope and price. Work that's continuous by nature — social, campaigns, content — runs as a monthly retainer. We'll tell you which one your work actually needs after the first conversation, even when the other one would bill more.

Websites & AI Systems

  • We choose the platform to fit the project rather than defaulting to one. Custom-built sites for speed and control, Shopify for e-commerce, and mainstream CMS platforms when a team needs to edit everything themselves. We'll explain the trade-offs before you commit — including where a simpler platform would serve you better than a custom build.

  • Yes — entirely. You own the domain, the hosting account, the code, and the content. Everything is registered in your name from the start, not transferred at the end. We hand over documentation with it. Nothing about our arrangement should make it hard to leave.

  • That's the goal. Every build includes a CMS or editing setup for the content that changes regularly, plus a walkthrough and written documentation for your team. If you'd rather we handle updates, we offer maintenance retainers — but it should be a choice, not a dependency.

  • Practical automation, not novelty. Leads that get captured, scored, and routed to the right person automatically. Follow-up sequences that fire without anyone remembering. Reporting that assembles itself. Assistants that answer the same twenty questions your inbox gets every week. The test is whether it removes hours from someone's week — if it doesn't, we don't build it.

  • Not without telling you. We use AI in the production process — research, drafts, variations, testing — but a person edits and approves everything that carries your name. If you'd prefer we not use it at all on your account, say so and we'll work that way.

  • We set up hosting, domains, SSL, and analytics as part of every build, in accounts you own. Ongoing maintenance — updates, backups, monitoring, small changes — is an optional monthly plan. Sites we build are stable enough that plenty of clients never take it.

03

Social, Copy & Branding

  • We prefer running both, because they make each other better. Organic tells you which creative actually resonates before you spend money amplifying it; paid extends the reach of whatever proved itself. We'll take organic-only or paid-only engagements, but we'll be upfront that you're leaving results on the table.

  • Media budget is billed at cost and reported line by line — you always see what went to the platform versus what went to us. Ads run through accounts you own, so if we part ways you keep the audiences, the pixel history, and the performance data.

  • We create it. Short-form video, photography, graphics, and copy are produced in-house, including on-site shoots. If you already have a content source you like — an in-house creator, a photographer you trust — we'll build the strategy and calendar around them instead of duplicating the work.

  • Strategy and positioning first, then the expression: naming if you need it, logo system, typography, color, art direction, and a written guidelines document. A full identity project also covers how the brand behaves in the places it actually lives — the site, social, packaging, print, and signage.

  • Every copywriting engagement ends with a tone-of-voice guide — the rules, the vocabulary, the things we'd never say. It's the deliverable that outlives the project. It's how the tenth email still sounds like the first one, whether we wrote it or you did.

  • Monthly, against the metric we agreed on at the start — not a wall of vanity numbers. Reach and engagement matter, but they're context for the thing you actually hired us to move: leads, bookings, revenue, or applications. If a channel isn't working, the report says so.

04

Event Management

  • We're venue-independent. That means we're not steering you toward a room we need to fill — we source the space that genuinely fits your guest count, budget, and format, negotiate it on your behalf, and produce your event there. Hotel ballroom, brewery, gallery, rooftop, or your own headquarters.

  • Corporate programs, private celebrations, engagement parties, wedding receptions, milestone birthdays, and sports activations — plus brand launches and activations that sit alongside a campaign. Details on each are on the Event Management page.

  • Yes, and it's usually where we start. We know the Charlotte market well — what a room actually costs, which spaces oversell their capacity, and where the hidden fees live. We'll shortlist options against your budget, arrange site visits, and negotiate the contract.

  • Six to eight weeks for a straightforward corporate event, three to six months for weddings, galas, and large programs. Peak dates — Fridays and Saturdays in spring and fall — go earliest. If your date is sooner than that, still ask. We can often make short timelines work; we'll be honest when we can't.

  • All of it — catering, bar, AV, lighting, staging, rentals, florals, photography, and entertainment. We source, negotiate, contract, and manage them, and we run the call sheet on the day. If you have vendors you already love, we'll work with them rather than replace them.

  • Always. Full-service means we're there from load-in to load-out, running the timeline and handling whatever goes sideways — because something always does. You get one point of contact all night, reachable by phone, not a ticketing system.

  • This is the part that's genuinely different about hiring us. The invitation, the landing page, the ticketing, the social rollout, the on-site content capture, and the recap can all be built by the same team producing the event. The event stops being separate from the campaign and becomes part of it.

05

Pricing & Contracts

  • It depends on scope, and we'd rather quote honestly than post a number that means nothing. As rough orientation: a focused website build starts in the low five figures, monthly retainers scale with channel count and content volume, and events are quoted against the guest count and production requirements. You'll have a real number before you commit to anything.

  • Projects are fixed-price against an agreed scope, invoiced in milestones — typically a deposit to start, a payment at a defined midpoint, and the balance on delivery. Retainers are billed monthly in advance. Ad spend and event vendor costs are passed through at cost, itemized.

  • Yes. A deposit confirms the engagement and reserves the team's capacity for your timeline — and for events, it's what secures the date. The amount and schedule are written into the agreement before anything is signed.

  • We tell you before we do the work, not after. Anything outside the agreed scope gets a written estimate that you approve first. Small adjustments inside a project are normal and we absorb them; a genuine change in direction gets priced honestly. No surprise line items on the final invoice.

  • Retainers typically run on an initial three-month term, because most marketing work needs that long to show whether it's working. After that they're month to month with 30 days' notice. Project work simply ends when the project is delivered.

06

Getting Started

  • We reply within one business day to set up a call — usually 30 to 45 minutes, no charge, no pitch deck. It's a working conversation about what you're trying to do. If we're the right fit, a written proposal with scope, timeline, and price follows within a few days.

  • Nothing formal. It helps if you can say what the business does, who you're trying to reach, what you've already tried, and what number needs to move. A rough budget range helps most of all — not so we can spend it, but so we can tell you quickly whether we can do the job properly within it.

  • Usually within two to three weeks of a signed agreement, sometimes sooner. We deliberately keep the client roster small, which means capacity is genuinely limited — when we're full, we'll say so and give you a real start date rather than take the work and let it sit.

  • The people who did your proposal. There's no handoff to a junior team after signing — that's most of the point of hiring a micro agency. You'll have one primary contact, and direct access to whoever is doing the specific work.

  • That's a completely normal starting point, and the first call is built for it. Plenty of people arrive asking for a new website when the actual problem is positioning, or asking for ads when the site converts badly. We'd rather point you at the real issue — including when the answer is smaller and cheaper than what you asked for.
